From the personal collection of Dave Jensen, these photos, circa 1988, show a Florida panther, with it's owner/trainer Peter Pierre from Octagon Wildlife Sanctuary. Jensen says the two would occasionally stop by Jensen's Twin Palm to say "hello" as the panther lived, part-time, at Shirley's Spirit of Foolishness.

The exact dates are unknown although estimated year is circa 1994 to 1995. In these 3 aerial photos, loaned to CIHS by Andreas Bieri, one can view Captiva Island's bayside from just south of Ventura Captiva to Mc Carthy's Marina. Visable also are rooftops of the Island Store and the Bubble Room.
