Summary |
At the end of 1994, the "Lindbergh" house is demolished. It has never been confirmed whether or not the Lindberghs ever stayed at this house. It is a fact, the Lindberghs never owned a home on Captiva. And, although the author of this article claims "Gift From the Sea' was written on Captiva, Mrs Linbergh's daughter Eiluned Morgan has told CIHS her mother merely wrote notes for the book on Captiva, the actual writting of the book took place elsewhere. |
