The i.d. card, circa 1973, was issued to chef Andreas Bieri as he entered employment in the USA (after emigrating to Canada from Switzerland in 1972). It was in 1974 Andreas arrived in Florida, as the new owners of South Seas Plantation enticed him to come to Captiva and become executive chef at The King's Crown Restaurant. This Wine List, circa 1975, was used at The King's Crown Restaurant at South Seas Plantation. Andreas Bieri was executive chef during that time. The Wine List is a faux-leather bound binder which holds laminated wine labels divided by region. Prices, descriptions, and substitution wines are included in the text within.

A menu from South Seas Plantation, circa 1975 was provided to the CIHS by Andreas Bieri. The menu is printed on paper and bound within a plastic outer covering, which is color-designed to resemble painted wood. The binding is held together by golden-colored cord with tassel.
