Description |
Photographs loaned to CIHS by Andreas Bieri include images from his days as chef at South Seas Plantation. Each of the 13 images are text-captioned with information provided to CIHS by Mr. Bieri. Of particular interest is the narrative Mr. Bieri shared, "South Seas rented 3 cottages on Andy Rosse Lane, which were used for employee housing". These cottages were later demolished and rebuilt on the property was a building which would become home to a sucession of restaurants; the Uptowner, F & B Oyster, No Name, La Vendee, and Bellini's. |
