From an email received by the C.I.H.S. on 03/20/2017: Hello all, I am Debbie Bryant Greenich, granddaughter of Granville Robert Bryant and Great Neice of his sister, Scotia Bryant. Granville and Scotia were the children of Mr.Karl Ashton and Mrs. Rosa Kennon Bryant. Homesteaders in the early 1900's. Scotia was Postmistress on Sanibel for 20 plus years. Granville's and Scotia's eldest sibling, a 4-day old baby boy, is buried in the historic Captiva cemetery at The Chapel by the Sea. I was thrilled to find the grave marker on our last visit to the island this past January! I am sending some family photos I feel you may like seeing.
